Photography isn’t the only way to capture the world, but it certainly is one of the most effective. When memories fades, photography becomes a tool that bear witness. Both imagination and photography are modes of paying attention and when examined, they are parallel means by which attention is transmuted into form.
In this workshop we explored photography as a relational tool. A way of relating to both oneself and one’s environment. Essentially, we used photography as a medium of reproducing our outer reality (environment) through an interpretation coming from within (self). Participants will learnt how to visually explore and experience their surroundings from behind the lens.
