Plants and People

My work Beautiful Decay (2015) is showing in the cross-collection exhibition Plants and People.

“Plants and People brings into dialogue works from the respective collections of the Frac des Pays de la Loire and the Musée d’arts de Nantes—photographs, drawings, sculptures, and paintings—created by artists from different periods. This cross-perspective explores the notions of conservation and preservation, which are fundamental to museums, through the metaphor of plant life. A poetic and peaceful plea, Plants and People brings together works that capture the relationship between plants and people, revealing invisible tensions, the resilience of fragility, the precarious balance of living systems, and the desire to preserve what may be destined to disappear.”

The exhibition at the Frac des Pays de la Loire in Carquefou runs from January 30 to April 26, 2026.
