Transmutations

‘Solve et Coagula: ‘analyse all the elements in yourself, dissolve all that is inferior in you, even though you may break in doing so; then, with the strength acquired from the preceding operation, congeal.’

This body of work explores the psycho-spiritual transformation of the human process on the path to attaining the sacred or the true Self. The imports from these internal voyages becomes The Self; a form of the divine.

Just as material death is necessary for the material rebirth of things, a spiritual death is necessary for the spiritual rebirth of man. A removal of the veils of unconscious attachment to the world so as to get a clearer sense of the Self; a sublimation, leading to the freeing of the soul nature.

These images interprets the chronological alchemical journey through all the lower stages into numerous explorations of the stage of conjunction to discover the heart. A place where wholeness is confirmed. But, even though coagulation of the true Self is the final stage, the end is just the beginning.
